This book is FILLED with substance and experiential accounts based on scripture. Kenneth Hague takes you on a journey through the Bible revealing the keys to being led by the Spirit and a successful life and or ministry in God. If you don't want to go into Gods perfect will for your life then don't read this book, just set it down now. But if you want KNOW what God wants for you then this is the foundation that you need. It's all based in accurate interpretation of scripture revealing the truths that many christians are not aware of. Just do what he tells you to do in this book and you'll start experiencing the Spirit of God in no time at all.You don't have to be dismayed and confused about life. You don't have to feel as if your life counts for nothing or that you are nothing. Because if you are led by the Spirit then no matter where you find yourself now just know you can walk in Gods anointing and perfect will for your life. And if you can achieve that through the application of Gods word and His Spirit then know that you have achieved the ultimate goal of a life pleasing to God and in HIM there are NO LIMITS!!! Let us respond with fierce determination to the beckoning call of God to be led by the Spirit and live a life without boundaries and limitations.

Kenneth Hagin is unashamedly a Full Gospel minister. His theology is based on the reality and work of the Holy Spirit, and it’s in that context that he writes the book How You Can Be Led by the Spirit of God (Legacy Edition, Faith Library Publications, 2006). Admittedly, there are some teachings in the book that seem a bit out of the ordinary to mainstream Christianity, but the book’s contents need to be seriously considered because most of what he says is clearly Biblically based. When we refuse to consider theological positions that are a bit outside our own experience, we risk “putting the brakes” on the Spirit. Jesus Himself “could not do mighty works in Nazareth because of the people’s unbelief”(Mt. 13:58). Similarly in Mark 6, when a man who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech was brought to Jesus for healing, Jesus “took him aside from the multitude” to heal him.” In a “conversation Hagin had with Jesus about this text:“The Lord asked me, Why do you think I took him aside from the multitude?”I don’t know,” I said. “I’ve always wondered.”The Lord said, “I couldn’t heal him in that multitude. There was too much unbelief there”(How You Can Be Led By the Spirit of God by Kenneth Hagin, Faith Library, 1978, pp. 195-196.)Hagin distinguishes between the role of the body, the soul and the spirit and contends that much of people’s efforts to be guided by God is based in their feelings (their body) or their mind (their rational thinking processes). But he maintains that a true Christian is one who is born again in the spirit and that spirit is where the Holy Spirit comes to dwell. Christians can be guided by God if they will be attentive to how the Spirit leads their spirit, in harmony with the Words of the Bible. For example, he heard what seemed to be a voice in his head saying “Today thou shall surely die…and so he prepared to die. But then repeatedly the Spirit brought a scripture to his mind—the 91st Psalm—‘with long life I will satisfy Him and show Him my salvation.’ Eventually he realized it was God speaking, and that the devil had spoken a lie into his mind. He hadn’t yet learned to distinguish between words of scripture from the Holy Spirit and Satan’s lies. Then he rebuked the devil and rose up to continue living” (pp. 92-95).Guidance and recognizing the voice of God is a major issue for most people. Christians need to understand what the Bible says about this topic. As I read this book, I found much that challenged and perhaps corrected a mainstream view of the kind of walk with God where guidance is possible in the Spirit. Kenneth Hagin is old school. He tells it like it is straight from the Scriptures. What more do you need to know. He doesn't sugarcoat it like some preachers do just to make you feel good. Serious Christians need to get on broad with the truth. The Word says study to show yourself approved. Let's face it we could never know enough concerning the Word of God. He's a good teacher of the Word. I have most of his books and they are all great filled with information you can't always get from the church or on your own.

I am a new born-again Christian of two months. I am 62 years old and the Lord has me on a fast track for learning His Word. This is first full-size book of Hagin's that I've read. As a Christian baby, it has answered a lot of questions for me that I've had since my Salvation. He writes like I talk. It's easy to understand. He gives scripture with coinciding personal experience. Excellent learning tool.

I’ve decided to learn from the Grandfather of the faith movement. I have this on my iPad but I also wanted a hard copy. Kenneth E Hagin is wise and his testimony is amazing. This book explains the different ways we can here from the Holy Spirit. I find in my experience this book to be on spot. Don’t seek visitation or audible voices because the Devil is a deceiver and if you do not know the word of God - he can and will use it against you.

I love this book. It came out of Brother Hagin's seminar on this subject. Today there are many voices in the world and many people claiming to be called to be the guiding voices to the Body of Christ. The Bible teaches that under the New Covenant, all who are born again by the Spirit of God, are themselves led by the Spirit of God. This is the primary way that God leads His children. The Bible also teaches that ALL guidance is to be evaluated in light of the Bible which is the inerrant Word of God in written form. If some guidance you have received from ANY other source cannot be confirmed by Scripture as well as the witness of your own spirit, do not follow it. Brother Hagin's teaching is very clear and scriptural. You should get it and read it.

I can't say enough about this book. Kenneth E Hagin had a God-given gift of saying deeply profound things in a simple easy to understand way. I've read many books about "hearing" from God- but this one by far surpasses them all. He explains how to hear from God, how to recognize his voice, and the difference between mans inner voice and God's. He backs everything with scripture and sound doctrine. I especially loved his take on Fleeces. I highly recommend this book. Every Christian should read it. I read this and promptly ordered " The Believers Authority" which I found equally amazing. I've since ordered several more of his books and some videos.
